Dottery made 98 tackles to lead the Southeastern Conference. LSU’s Davhon Keys finished second with 92. A season ago, Whit Weeks finished second in the league with 125 stops. That trip could form LSU’s base at the second level in Blake Baker’s defense.
Dottery began his college career at Clemson where he redshirted. He was considered a four-star prospect by Rivals and 247sports and the No. 10 linebacker in the country by ESPN.
He has one season of eligibility remaining.
