As the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl nears, there are numerous candidates the New Orleans Saints should have their eyes on. The team will meet and view each and every player that takes the field in Mobile, Ala., but these ten players are among some of the most intriguing fits for the team on offense.
New Orleans drafted five Senior Bowl participants and an additional pair that received invites in their nine-player 2025 draft class. The all-star collegiate collection often fields future Saints. Here are 10 on offense to keep in mind as practices kick off Tuesday.
Indiana WR Elijah Sarratt (National Team)
Listed measurements:
Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 210 pounds
2025 stats:
Games: 40
Receptions: 65
Receiving yards: 830
Receiving touchdowns: 15 (Led FBS/D-1)
Team Captain?: No
Why Saints should be interested:
The Indiana wideout is one of the more fiercely competitive players at his position in this year’s draft. While names like Arizona State’s Jordyn Tyson and Ohio State’s Carnell Tate are likely to dominate debates on who will be the first wide receiver drafted, Sarratt offers little fall-off. He’s a physical presence with a dominant mentality. From securing catches reliably in the short area of the field to catching 50-50 balls downfield, Sarratt has an expansive game that could quickly become a strong complement to incumbent wide receivers Chris Olave and Devaughn Vele.
Current draft projection:
Early Day Two with a chance to land in the first round by raising his stock throughout the draft process.
2026 NFL Draft Wide Receiver Superlatives
Best Contested Catches: Elijah Sarratt, Indiana
– Leads all receiver prospects since 2019 with 54 career contested catches
– Converted 60% of career contested targets, best rate among prospects with 55+ targetsRunner-Up: Carnell Tate pic.twitter.com/Jh92mQGFbN

Texas A&M WR KC Concepcion (National Team)
Listed measurements:
Height: 5-foot-11
Weight: 190 pounds
2025 stats:
Games: 38
Receptions: 61
Receiving yards: 919
Receiving touchdowns: 9
Temp Captain?: No
Why Saints should be interested:
A different style of wide receiver, Concepcion is another big-time playmaker. His speed and shiftiness make him a true yards-after-catch (YAC) threat. He can take a 5-yard slant the distance and consistently get more out of each play he’s given a chance to make.
New Orleans has lacked a viable and consistent YAC threat for some time. The team could remedy that by targeting Concepcion should he be available.
Current draft projection:
Mid- to late-round one. Saints would either have to make a move via trade, or hope the Aggies wideout unexpectedly slips to the early portion of the second round.
KC Concepcion is an electric playmaker. Legit 1st-round ceiling.
He’s also sitting near the top of the class in drops (7) which is hard to make sense of when you turn on the tape.
More footnote than story for me right now. Top-40 player. #NFLDraft #GigEm pic.twitter.com/a0xTR5Xvv0

Mississippi State WR Brenen Thompson (American Team)
Listed measurements:
Height: 5-foot-9
Weight: 170 pounds
2025 stats:
Games: 40
Receptions: 57
Receiving yards: 654
Receiving touchdowns: 6
Team Captain?: One game
Why Saints should be interested:
Likely to test as one of the fastest players on the football field in Mobile and again in Indianapolis at the NFL Scouting Combine, Thompson’s superpower is his blazing speed. But beyond that, it’s his handling of that quickness that has allowed him to be more than a one-dimensional field-stretcher. His ability to throttle down and change direction with nuance has made him an impressive route-runner as well.
Current draft projection:
Late Day Two, early Day Three.
My early pick for fastest 40-yard dash at the Combine?
Brenen Thompson (WR, Miss State)
10.18 100-meters in HS. He is dusting CBs on his 2025 tape. Led the P4 w/ 5 catches of 50+ yards (might’ve had double that w/ better throws). pic.twitter.com/tBYkRp8nmM

Indiana RB Kaelon Black (American Team)
Listed measurements:
Height: 5-foot-10
Weight: 210 pounds
2025 stats:
Games: 51
Rushing: 186
Rushing yards: 1,040
Rushing touchdowns: 10
Team Captain?: No
Why Saints should be interested:
Another Hoosier makes the list. Black is a physical and violent runner with great feet and vision. He’s patient and picks his opportunities with efficient feet and impressive burst. He fares well against contact, averaging 3.47 yards after contact per carry, per Pro Football Focus. His physical running style could be a strong addition to the Saints’ running back room in 2026.
Black will work closely with Saints associate head coach and running backs coach Joel Thomas, who will serve as the American Team’s head coach.
Current draft projection:
Day Three
Kaelon Black has improved his draft stock in the playoffs. Doesn’t have great breakaway speed, but excellent vision & patience, plus some key blocks in pass pro pic.twitter.com/DuTfXu426q

Penn State RB Kaytron Allen (National Team)
Listed measurements:
Height: 5-foot-11
Weight: 220 pounds
2025 stats:
Games: 54
Rushing: 210
Rushing yards: 1,303
Rushing touchdowns: 15
Team Captain?: High school
Why Saints should be interested:
Allen is another physical, downhill runner. He’s strong at the point of contact, successful in a variety of situations and schemes and has enough breakaway speed to still get away from defenders in pursuit. He’d be another power back for New Orleans to keep an eye on and consider in April.
Current draft projection:
Early Day Two
Kaytron Allen is my rookie RB2.
I expect NFL teams to like him more than fantasy/dynasty managers. He’s a no-nonsense downhill runner with a powerful frame, exceptional contact balance, innate vision, and underrated open-field creativity.

Penn State RB Nicholas Singleton (National Team)
Listed measurements:
Height: 6-foot
Weight: 220 pounds
2025 stats:
Games: 53
Rushing: 123
Rushing yards: 549
Rushing touchdowns: 13
Team Captain?: High school
Why Saints should be interested:
Allen’s backfield-mate makes the list as well. He still has a lot of tread left on the tires and is a unique athlete. While he is best in downhill situations, it’s his explosiveness and acceleration that help differentiate him from the previously listed backs. If the Saints want to go the route of an athletic and physical blend of rusher, the intrigue should peak when Singleton is getting reps in Mobile.
His pass-catching acumen is another area that should draw eyes next week, making him a player to circle on draft boards for New Orleans.
Current draft projection:
Day Two
Nicholas Singleton posted 9+ yards per catch on 102 career receptions at Penn State – probably the best receiving back in the class and he’s 6’0 220+ pounds with home run speed

Wyoming TE John Michael Gyllenborg (American Team)
Listed measurements:
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 251 pounds
2025 stats:
Games: 43
Receptions: 24
Receiving yards: 211
Receiving touchdowns: 1
Team Captain?: No
Why Saints should be interested:
The Wyoming tight end’s 2025 stat line won’t blow anyone out of the water, but that’s why there should be eyes on him in Mobile. Gyllenborg has some versatility to his game having lined up in-line, in the slot and in the backfield throughout his playing career and has good speed and acceleration, allowing him to run laterally effectively, making him a receiving threat on crossing routes. He’s a strong and willing blocker. With a potential exodus at tight end with several pending free agents and voiding contracts, the position is likely to see a lot of attention this offseason.
Current draft projection:
Day Three
Extremely fluid movement skills, good after the catch, and strong hands. Excited to see what John Michael Gyllenborg can do as the top guy on the depth chart his year. https://t.co/m5gMj6L6Gq pic.twitter.com/ew6D3k8kHz

Oregon G Emmanuel Pregnon (National Team)
Listed measurements:
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 318 pounds
2025 stats:
Games: 53
Pressures allowed: 5
Sacks allowed: 1
PFF Run Blocking Grade: 76.8
Team Captain?: No
Why Saints should be interested:
Pregnon could be a day one starter for the Saints on their interior offensive line, which could use attention this offseason. There are inconsistent numbers on the reporting of pressures and sacks allowed in 2025, but in every instance only one sack has been credited to the interior lineman over the last three seasons.
That kind of pass protection along with his impressive work as a run blocker would bring a plug-and-play option to New Orleans.
Current draft projection:
Round two with a chance to jump into the first.
Emmanuel Pregnon has a case to be OG1 this year. Top 32 player on my board pic.twitter.com/bo4YgC66tv

Georgia State G Keylan Rutledge (National Team)
Listed measurements:
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 330 pounds
2025 stats:
Games: 44
Pressures allowed: 5
Sacks allowed: 1
PFF Run Blocking Grade: 85.8
Team Captain?: At Middle Tennessee
Why Saints should be interested:
Rutledge’s movement ability jumps off the tape the moment his tape is on, making him a desirable fit for head coach Kellen Moore’s offense and run scheme. Moore had a lot of success with big interior offensive linemen during his Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl run in 2024 and the Georgia Tech lineman fits that bill. He’s aggressive and plays violently, always looking to finish plays with power. He’ll need to improve his footwork at the next level, but getting to work with a former player like Jahri Evans, Saints’ assistant offensive line coach, allots him a promising opportunity to continue to develop.
Current draft projection:
Day Two
Georgia Tech RG #77 Keylan Rutledge
Has natural strength that consistently causes displacement/shock in the run game and helps him recover when caught off balance in pass pro. Rock solid anchor and strong grip. GT constantly has him pulling in space and on wham blocks and… pic.twitter.com/cNyiwRwzzJ

Boise State T Kage Casey (American Team)
Listed measurements:
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 311 pounds
2025 stats:
Games: 46
Pressures allowed: 10
Sacks allowed: 5
PFF Run Blocking Grade: 75.8
Team Captain?: No
Why Saints should be interested:
A career tackle, Casey may not be at the team’s most desperate need, but continuing to invest in developmental depth on the line is never a bad idea. Especially when your developmental selection starts with this kind of strong foundation.
Casey is a very technically sound player with great mental processing acumen, which allows him to be able to fall back on his fundamentals against any style of pass rusher. The Boise State Bronco also has more than enough functional strength to make up for any lapses. He uses the length he has very effectively, could be an option to move inside and cross-train as well.
Current draft projection:
Day Two or Three
Kage Casey (6’5 315) Boise State
+ Over 2,700 career snaps played
+ Allowed just 6 pressures and 0 sacks in 2024
+ 80.1 pass block grade and 80.0 run block grade in 2025
+ Stout anchor
+ Controlled footwork as a run blocker
+ Understands blocking angles– Allowed 4 sacks in… pic.twitter.com/DAymNYGhwz
