Weis Jr. has worked alongside Lane Kiffin since 2022. The duo has helped cultivate one of college football’s most dynamic offenses. The Rebels led the SEC in total offense in 2024 and 2025.
After Kiffin left Ole Miss for LSU, Weis remained with the Rebels for the College Football Playoff. In the Sugar Bowl against Georgia, Weis Jr.’s group hung 39 points on Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs in the win. A week later against a stout Miami defense, Ole Miss scored 27 in a losing effort.
Weis Jr. signed a three-year $7.5 million deal with LSU in December.
