- A record seven new teams won the division in 2025.
- The Eagles were the only team to repeat.
- 2024 only had two new division winners.
- 2023 had four new division winners.
- 2026 opening odds have Bills, Ravens, Texans, Chargers, Packers, and Bucs as new division winners.
- One team went from worst to first in 2025.
- That was the Patriots.
- In 2024, there were no teams that went from worst to first.
