LSU dipped to the Louisiana high school ranks for a defensive analyst.
DeAndre Williams has been added to LSU’s coaching staff. The former Scotlandville Magnet High School standout and Tulane alum has been the defensive coordinator at Brusly High School just across the Mississippi River from LSU’s campus. He’ll work with the defensive linemen.

Williams takes the spot vacated by Jermauria Rasco who left for Mississippi State two weeks ago. Lane Kiffin sees value in staffers from Louisiana with deep high school connections in the state.
LSU defensive line coach Sterling Lucas is the lone new addition to the defensive staff, replacing Kyle Williams. Rasco coached the defensive tackles in the Texas Bowl after Williams left the staff.
LSU begin spring football practice March 24.
