As the NFL Combine dust settles, roster reshuffling season is officially underway — and the New Orleans Saints could be one of several teams monitoring a potential shakeup involving Kayvon Thibodeaux.
The former No. 5 overall pick in 2022 still has a year remaining before free agency, but questions are swirling about his long-term future with the New York Giants. Moving Thibodeaux now would free up cap space and allow New York to pivot toward cheaper alternatives on the edge.
According to Bovada, the Saints sit at +1800 odds to land Thibodeaux if he doesn’t open the 2026 season with the Giants. While longer odds than teams like the 49ers (+400) or Bills (+500), New Orleans remains an intriguing sleeper.
The Saints could be in the market for another disruptive edge presence, especially with long-term uncertainty around their veteran depth. Thibodeaux, still just entering his prime, would immediately boost the defensive front and provide a high-upside building block.
