After a 3-1 week and a clean weekend, LSU held its position at No. 2 in college baseball’s polls.
D1Baseball, Baseball America, Perfect Game and USA TODAY coaches poll all pegged the Tigers second behind UCLA. The Bruins had a huge weekend in Arlington, sweeping through Tennessee, Texas A&M and Mississippi State at Globe Life Field.
LSU responded to Tuesday loss to McNeese by winning three games against Dartmouth (2x) and Northeastern.
LSU will play five games this week beginning with Northeastern on Monday night. The Tigers’ first true road game of the season is Wednesday night at ULL. The pre-conference weekend slate concludes this week with Sacramento State visiting Baton Rouge.
