It’s Final Four weekend in the world of college basketball. Before we get to the Men’s Semifinals there are two huge games in the Women’s Semis in Phoenix.
Two SEC teams will compete in the Final Four for the third time in the last four years with a chance to meet in the Finals on Sunday. If that happens, it would be the fourth meeting between South Carolina and Texas this year.
First, each of them will have to go against two of the best teams from each coast in UConn and UCLA.
Here are our best bets for Friday night’s games.

UCLA and UConn are both really good. UCLA has as many as six potential draft picks in this year’s WNBA Draft. UConn is historically good this year and off to a 38-0 record. They are the unanimous number one team in the country and the only team without plus money for odds to win the national title at -180.
Here’s the thing, they haven’t played anyone. That team hasn’t been challenged since December, but it’s not necessarily because of their dominance and way more about their schedule. The Huskies have played five ranked teams all season long. To put that in perspective South Carolina played five ranked teams in their final six of games of the regular season.
UConn may be really good, but South Carolina has played teams like UConn this season. UConn hasn’t faced anyone like South Carolina.
