Kaden Martin is joining his father.
The Middle Tennessee State quarterback transfer will be a Tiger where dad, Tee, is working as an offensive analyst. Martin began his collegiate career at Miami where he played baseball. He transferred to East Tennessee State and played one baseball season there. At that point, he decided to transition to football and enrolled at Middle Tennessee.
Martin has not played in a football game.
He’s a 5-foot-11-inch left-handed thrower who was a three-star football recruit out of high school. LSU hired Tee Martin in March after he served as quarterbacks coach of the Ravens. He spent five seasons under John Harbaugh with the organization.
Martin was the quarterback of the 1998 national champion Tennessee Volunteers.
LSU’s quarterback room now features Sam Leavitt, Huson Longstreet, Landen Clark, Emile Picarella and Martin. After losing every scholarship quarterback in December, the room is now full.
