LSU added a second commitment Sunday coming off an official visitor weekend. Three star running back Brennen Lacey pledged to the Tigers after his weekend in Baton Rouge, according to Rivals.

Lacey is the sixth commitment for the Tigers’ 2027 class and the first running back. He joins five-star EDGE KJ Green who committed to LSU earlier Sunday.
The 6-foot-1, 187 pounder from Frisco (TX) Frisco is ranked No. 78 running back in the Rivals Industry Ranking. LSU has also been courting two premier in-state rushers in four-stars Jayden Miles from Baton Rouge (LA) Catholic and Trey Martin from Winnsboro (LA) Franklin Parish.
LSU returns its top two rushers from a season ago in Harlem Berry and Caden Durham. Lane Kiffin also added four running backs via the transfer portal, all of whom have eligibility beyond 2026.
