Cooper picked LSU over more than a dozen offers including Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Auburn.
The 6-foot-3, 192 pounder is from Malvern (PA) Malvern Prep and is ranked the 52nd best receiver in the Rivals Industry Rankings which combines the rankings of the top three recruiting outlets. Rivals tabs Cooper No. 24 among receivers for the 2027 class.
It’s been a whirwind for Kiffin’s class. Five star EDGE K.J. Green picked the Tigers Sunday with running back Brennen Lacey following a few hours later. Monday morning cornerback Markez Davis went public with his pledge with Cooper following.
LSU now has eight commits for the 2027 class.
