Davis hails from Opelousas and visited two weeks ago on a loaded weekend in Baton Rouge.
LSU cornerbacks coach Corey Raymond prioritizes length and athleticism in his outside corners, and Davis stands 6-foot-3. The Northwest High School prospect is a standout basketball player, as well.
Houston, Texas Tech and West Virginia were courting Davis, but the home state school won out in the end.
LSU now has seven commitments for the Class of 2027, four from Louisiana.
