Three players with most opportunity during Saints’ Mandatory Minicamp

While Mandatory Minicamp kicks off in Airline Drive, some New Orleans Saints are expected to remain limited in terms of participation. Chief among them include wide receiver Chris Olave and Jordyn Tyson, as well as running back Kendre Miller

Unless those three players unexpectedly tick up in involvement, their limited participation should open up opportunities for players looking to capitalize on strong offseason starts.

Here are three players set to have the biggest opportunities to leave a lasting impression before the training camp break.

Wide Receiver Ja’Lynn Polk

The third-year wideout is likely to see more hype continue to build around him as training camp kicks off in July, but some is already starting to build.

Polk had a strong start to the offseason in recent practices and appears on line to see another heavy workload during minicamp. Another strong showing will carry his momentum into the break for coaches to remember when camp begins.

Running Back Alvin Kamara

Kamara doesn’t have to prove much from an on-field standpoint but if Miller remains sidelined, that’s more opportunity for Kamara to continue making his statement that he intends to be with the team in 2026.

Eyes will be in the back for a number of reasons, including whether or not he’ll speak to the media again and disclose any new conversations or progress with the team.

Minicamp will serve both as a chance for Kamara to continue putting forward his intentions to be in New Orleans this year with his in-field participation and with an opportunity to update on progress after practice.

Wide Receiver Bryce Lance

Lance should see more opportunities, much like Polk. He’s taken snaps with every unit from just about every position and has done a great job showing off his versatility and positional knowledge.

Now, he has another chance to leave an impression with playmaking. Lance has strung together solid performances thus far, but hasn’t had a “wow” moment in front of the media just yet. If he can add that to his ledger before the break, it could go a long way for the rookie.
