LSU will host one of Omaha’s eight in a fall scrimmage.
Troy will visit Alex Box Stadium on Sunday November 8, the day following LSU’s home football matchup with Alabama. The following week, Southeastern Louisiana will come to Baton Rouge for a Friday (11/13) scrimmage leading into LSU’s home football game with Texas. D1Baseball’s Mark Etheridge reported the news.
The Tigers’ fall road trip will once again be to Biloxi to face off with Samford on Halloween weekend. LSU will take on the Bulldogs on both Saturday October 31 and Sunday November 1 at Keesler Federal Park home of the AA Biloxi Shuckers.
Troy won 39 games last season and won the Gainesville Regional before sweeping Little Rock in the Super Regional to advance to the College World Series where they eliminated Ole Miss.
