Attendance stabilizes for Saints final practice of week

METAIRIE, La. – The New Orleans Saints capped off their bonus week of practices with one more day in its indoor facility. The attendance didn’t change much, outside of the absence of quarterback Zach Wilson, who was out for non-injury related reasons, spending time with his family which recently expanded with the addition of a newborn baby.

Next week will be a better indicator of injury progress, or lack thereof if more application, with it being the first week the team practices in preparation for its opening week, the Detroit Lions.

This week has been focused on the team working through more of its own tenets and pillars rather than strictly game planning ahead for Detroit, though there is always a bit of a split focus for the bonus week.

The running back position will be one of the most important to watch when the team reassembles next week. With only one healthy active running back for the majority of this week, the upcoming practices will be illuminating as to what can be expected alongside Travis Etienne Jr.
