The SEC player availability report is back with one SEC league game schedule Saturday. Alabama travels to Kentucky, and they will do so without one of its biggest pieces. Here’s a look at the initial injury report released by each school. Remember that there will be an update on Thursday and Friday at the same time.
Alabama at Kentucky
Alabama heads to Kentucky in a pretty intriguing spot. The Crimson Tide (1-0) are a 10.5-point favorite, but they will be without several players thought to be key contributors coming into the season. The running back position has been thinned out early. AK Dear was thought to be a potential starter but missed the opening game against East Carolina and is listed as questionable in the SEC’s initial injury report.
The biggest news is right guard Michael Carroll being listed as doubtful for Alabama. Carroll was the one returning starter with any experience from the previous season. He was also the best performer on Alabama’s offensive line in Week 1, and Pro Football Network even rated him the highest rated right guard in the FBS from the opening weekend’s action.
Neither offensive lineman for Kentucky (1-0) listed as questionable recorded a snap last weekend.
