Station Survey: ESPN staff picks Tech at LSU

Michael Bacigalupi

Jacob Hester, Co-Host, Off the Bench: LSU ran seven more power runs against Clemson last week than they did all year in 2025. Take it from someone who took one 87 yards against the Bulldogs, the running game is the way. 48-10, LSU.

Matt Flynn, Co-Host, Off the Bench: 63-6 LSU.

Charles Hanagriff, Co-Host, Live at Lunch: Apparently Hunt wants us to pick a number between 25 and 45. Mine is 39.  49-10 Tigers.

Hunt Palmer. Host, Hunt Palmer Show: There’s an energy coming out of this program right now, and it’s mirrored in the fanbase. That stadium is going to be nearly full, and there won’t be a letdown from the team. 58-13, LSU

Matt Moscona. Host, After Further Review: LSU 56-17

Paul O’Neill, Video Producer, Off the Bench: Most people underestimated this LSU offense in Week 1. It’s for real. After seeing LSU’s dominant performance against Clemson, I don’t see Louisiana Tech faring much better. Tigers win, 58-6.

Matthew Musso, Audio Producer, After Further Review: You don’t get a more tailor-made letdown spot on a schedule than this. It happened last season after a big win against Clemson. That was last year. Lane Kiffin has traditionally rolled in spots like this against opponents like this. If there is one thing he’s proven over the last year-plus, it’s that distractions are not a thing for his team. The play is what matters. The Tigers roll to 2-0 on Saturday night. LSU 63, LA Tech 7.

Alondra Villareal, Audio Producer, Off the Bench: Did you see what LSU did to CLEMSON? Maybe Dabo Swinney’s team is bad, but it’s probably better than Louisiana Tech. Give me the Tigers by 50+. LSU 65, LA Tech 10.

Taylor Sharp, Video Producer, Off the Bench: How ‘bout we break the scoreboard on Saturday! What’s the highest number you can put on that thing?  I think LSU absolutely demolishes the Bulldogs. I like Louisiana Tech, but LSU’s players and coaching staff should be ticked off about all the nonsense that they’ve dealt with this week. Go out there and make a statement. 65-7 Tigers.

Jordan Kitchens, Audio Producer, Hunt Palmer Show: LSU 55, LA Tech 10. A typical top 10 team at home vs a G5 team spanking. But LA Tech shows some pride and holds LSU under 60.
