The New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders have released their game designations for Sunday’s game, where the Saints will open a three-game homestand after starting the 2026 season on the road.
New Orleans has good news with its top running back being available despite wrestling with injury throughout the week, while the Raiders have some mystery when it comes to their top pass-catcher in tight end Brock Bowers.
Here is the information from Friday’s final practice report ahead of the Week 3 matchup:

The Saints will be relying on cornerback Jayden Price for their primary returner responsibilities on Sunday with Brown ruled out. Meanwhile, the defensive tackle group will remain without promising rookie Miller for a second week.
Otherwise, the Saints look to be at full strength, relative to their active roster. The key designation (or lack thereof) is for Etienne, who is good to go for the game after managing a hamstring injury over the course of the week.
It won’t receive a ton of fanfare or attention, but the special teams unit appears ready to get an important piece back with Stalbird being available to go after his shoulder injury. The coverage units on both punt and kick returns did a solid job in Baltimore against the Ravens, and Stalbird can help to raise the floor even higher and push the ceiling in his return.

Bowers was not participating in Friday’s practice, which Raiders Head Coach Klint Kubiak said was part of the plan for the tight end. The star pass-catcher will also reportedly not work out pregame either, meaning New Orleans will be uncertain of Bowers’ inclusion in the offense until an official decision is made about his availability.
A downgrade in participation to end the week isn’t usually a big sign for weekend availability, but nothing will be certain until game time, which could work in Las Vegas’ advantage.
Stukes being out carries a major impact for the Raiders’ passing defense. Las Vegas has allowed just one reception of more than 20 yards downfield. Stukes has been a big part of that success early in the season.
