Jacob Hester, Co-Host, Off the Bench: Show me something, second team running backs. Protect the passer and make some plays with the ball. LSU, 55-7.
Matt Flynn, Co-Host, Off the Bench: LSU, 77-6
Charles Hanagriff, Co-Host, Live at Lunch: Hunt asked us for something we’d like to see on Saturday. Since Hunt is such a good guy I sent two things. I’d like to see Sam Leavitt in street clothes and a skyline without lightning. Tigers, 54-6.
Hunt Palmer. Host, Hunt Palmer Show: I really think it’s possible Leavitt doesn’t play a snap. I’d like to see Princewill Umanmielen get a pair of sacks. Arden Key’s record of 12 is in trouble. Umanmielen already has seven through four games. Seeing history is fun. LSU, 44-3.
Matt Moscona. Host, After Further Review: These games are a waste of our time, and I look forward to the day when we never have to watch them again. Since they are going to play it, this will be a good opportunity for Sam Leavitt to rest his hamstring and the new starters to get some experience. LSU, 52-3.
Paul O’Neill, Video Producer, Off the Bench: Just get out of this game healthy. A lot of star players are already missing time with long-term injuries. Get a big enough lead and get your staters out of the game early. Sam Leavitt will likely see little to no playing time, so I’m interested to see Landen Clark settle in and use the passing game. We have all seen what he can do with his legs in the red zone. Now let’s see what he can do with his arm. LSU, 42-7
Alondra Villarreal, Audio Producer, Off the Bench: I wanna see Landen Clark score a million touchdowns. A million to 6, LSU.
Matthew Musso, Audio Producer, After Further Review: Like everyone else, I want to see extended time for Landen Clark at quarterback for two reasons. Number one, it keeps Leavitt off his feet. Number two, Clark has been good in his limited action; let’s get him some more. I actually wouldn’t mind seeing Leavitt if he’s able to go, but I’m talking literally about one or two series just to keep him in rhythm. Next, let’s see some extended run for Harlem Berry. His performance against A&M was really encouraging. If he can take hold of the number two spot that only strengthens LSU for the SEC road ahead. Lastly, can Davhon Keys build on what he did last week against A&M? He’s no stranger to filling in for Whit Weeks, but he’s undeniably had his struggles in his extended playing time. Last week he was really good. Do that again regardless of the opponent. LSU 48, McNeese 7.
Taylor Sharp, Video Producer, Off the Bench: LSU can likely name its score in this ball game, but how about something to keep an eye on? I looking at the depth on defense, can a young player shine when given an opportunity? Maybe Zach Weeks, Richard Anderson or Lamar Brown could make a big play? Also, how about the RB2 role? Is it Harlem Berry, or will Stacy Gage and Caden Durham get a crack at it? Finally, I want to see Landen Clark, not just in extended action, I want him to start this game. Sam Leavitt needs to rest the hamstring, and we don’t need him taking unnecessary hits. You might need Landen in a big-time game in case Leavitt goes down, why not give him some valuable experience this weekend? LSU, 60-3.
Jordan Kitchens, Audio Producer, Hunt Palmer Show: LSU, 48-7.
