We’re less than 24 hours away from most of the Southeastern Conference games this weekend. There are some very interesting betting lines this week in the SEC.

The Takeaways

Not a ton of movement in most of the games this week. What does stand out is the road favorites getting a big boost in betting line movement since the lines opened on Sunday. Alabama opened as a field goal favorite against Mississippi State and that line moved up to -5.5 almost immediately. It got as high as six at one point as well, but has settled right around -5.5. The other is Florida which was almost bet up almost immediately by nearly the exact same amount. That line has also settled in at -5.5 for the road favorite.

What is incredibly interesting with those two games where the home underdog has taken a lot of bets, is that one sportsbook, Hard Rock, not only has a different line, but has the other team favored with Mississippi State and Missouri both currently listed as -1.5 point favorites (according to Vegasinsider.com).
