Last week was a blood bath in the SEC. This week may be no different. There are primetime match-ups with massive implications in every time window.
Here are the picks for this week.

The main course
LSU at Auburn
LSU has been terrible on the road. They haven’t won a road conference game since 2024 at Arkansas. But if the SEC has taught us anything this season, it’s that Auburn has all the makings of a classic letdown spot.
Auburn has been much better than anyone realized. That’s not just because of the Georgia win, either. Their resume is arguably better than Alabama’s considering their losses and best win.
Still, LSU is playing really well, and if it weren’t for that one point loss to Kentucky, we might be talking about this team as the best in the SEC right now.
Expect it to be close early, but Sam Leavitt and LSU’s offense are too much for Auburn for 60 minutes.
LSU 30, Auburn 20
Ole Miss at Texas
I’m done believing in Arch Manning and Texas.
Their best defensive player is out for this game, and their “best” offensive player has been a mystery all season. This $50 million roster has underwhelmed all season.
Last week, Texas faced a kid making his first career start at quarterback and lost. This week, they’re facing the best quarterback in America, and a defense that has completely turned the corner in its last two games off the bye week.
Give me the Rebs.
Ole Miss 31, Texas 27
