The Takewaways

There are a lot to choose from here, but let’s start with Georgia/Florida. This line has seen some heavy action from sharps according to Patrick Everson from Covers.com. It’s the most bet of the weekend as far as sharp money is concerned. That’s probably because it involves a great spot for UGA backers. Head coach Kirby Smart is 27-2 coming off a bye week, and he’s won those games by an average of more than 17 points per game.

Another interesting line is South Carolina and Oklahoma. The Gamecocks opened as a 3.5 point underdog, and that number was quickly bet up to 5.5 in favor of the Sooners. Since then the number has dropped steadily and has even hit 2.5 in some books on Friday afternoon. The Gamecocks are coming off back-to-back Top 20 wins for just the third time in program history.

The last one of note is Missouri and Arkansas. Bettors and sportsbooks feel pretty solid about this game being around 10 points. What’s interesting is that it didn’t move drastically after hearing that star RB Ahmad Hardy would be making his season debut for Missouri this Saturday.
