LSU will add former Grambling special teams coordinator Aman Anand to its staff, according to a report from FootballScoop.
Anand spent one season at Grambling running the Tigers’ special teams. He’s served as a special teams assistant at Penn State and Baylor previously. The Nittany Lions led the Big 10 in blocked kicks while Anand was in his role in Happy Valley.
Anand has been coaching collegiately since 2011 when he started as a student assistant at Old Dominion in 2011.
In 2024, Bob Diaco helped coordinate LSU’s special teams in his analyst role. Diaco was hired by Bill Belichick to coach linebackers at North Carolina. Slade Nagle, who coached tight ends at LSU in 2024, left to be the offensive coordinator at Houston. That could open up a full-time slot for Anand if LSU decides to have a true special teams coordinator.
