On3 releases final player and team rankings for the 2025 recruiting class

By Chris Marler
The two leading sites and platforms of the recruiting industry have finalized their 2025 evaluations. A day after 247 released their final player and team rankings, On3 has done the same.
In the least shocking news ever, the SEC has once again dominated the rankings. They dominated the team rankings, as well as having the most five-star signees.
On3 crowned 10 new five-star prospects for the class of 2025. The recruiting service names 32 five-stars each year, symbolic of the 32 first round NFL draft choices.
In all, 17 of the 32 five star players signed or have already enrolled with SEC schools, including seven in the top ten overall. Perhaps what is most impressive is that nine different schools in the SEC landed a five-star in this cycle.
The SEC’s amassing of talent was one of the most dominant we’ve seen in a recruiting cycle. The SEC finished with the top three teams overall, seven teams in the top ten, and 13 teams in the top 25.
Here’s a look at where every SEC school finished in On3’s final team rankings.
