Former Texas wide receiver Johntay Cook was arrested early Tuesday morning. This according to inmate logs in Tarrant County, Texas.
Bond was brought in on two misdemeanor charges that included theft and interfering with public duties. His bond has yet to be posted.
Cook was a five-star recruit in the 2023 class and spent his first two years at Texas. He appeared in 19 games for the Longhorns. However, he entered the transfer portal late last season. He committed to Washington out of the portal, but both sides had a mutual agreement to part ways shortly after he enrolled.
