What is the best Super Bowl LIX outcome for the sportsbooks?

Approximately $1.39 billion is expected to be legally wagered on Super Bowl LIX, the biggest single-day event of the year for sportsbooks. While public bettors and sharps clutch their tickets, what are outcome are the sportsbooks rooting for?

“I think for us would be the Chiefs winning by exactly one,” said DraftKings Director of Sports Operations Johnny Avello. “We do have quite a bit of money with Chiefs minus-one-and-a-half and we have quite a bit of money on the Eagles to win the game straight up. So one (point) divides that.”

Avello said Friday on “After Further Review” on 104.5 ESPN Baton Rouge that he expected roughly 85 percent of the money to come in over the weekend. He also said that prop bets make up more of the handle now than the side, total and moneyline. DraftKings has “thousands” of prop bets for the Super Bowl, according to Avello.
