After long time LSU commitment Bryce Underwood flipped to Michigan a week before the December signing period, the Tigers were left in a pickle. It was too late to add an elite 2025 prospect, so Brian Kelly had a numbers problem at the position. Though his recruitment slowed, he still held major Power Four offers, but ultimately decided to accept a preferred walk-on spot at LSU.
