While the New Orleans Saints work hard to rebuild their coaching roster, some teams are poaching talent from their staff. That was the case Sunday evening.
Per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the Minnesota Vikings are set to hire Saints offensive assistant Jordan Traylor.
The #Vikings are hiring #Saints offensive assistant Jordan Traylor as their new assistant OC and assistant QBs coach, sources say, taking the place of Grant Udinski. Traylor, just 31, fills a key void, as Udinski left to be the #Jaguars OC.

His role in Minnesota will be as the assistant offensive coordinator and assistant quarterbacks coach, which is a minor upgrade from his role in New Orleans.
Players consistently recognized Traylor as a trustworthy staff member who built strong relationships with them. As a result, he is on a clear trajectory to become a bright offensive mind in the NFL. Now, his next steps will take place in Minnesota, where he will continue developing his coaching career.
The Saints hired a new name to the offensive assistant staff last week, after the loss of Kevin Petry to the Denver Broncos. Tobijah Hughley, who will serve a data-specific role with the Saints, per NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill. With that, New Orleans now may have an opening for a new offensive assistant on their staff.
