Report: Campbell to meet with three of top five organizations in NFL draft

A busy two months await Will Campbell.
The NFL combine kick-started the draft process and proved two things about the consensus all-American and former LSU Tiger.
He’s exceptionally athletic, and his arms aren’t as long as the prototypical NFL offensive tackle.
“I think I’ve shown everything that I need to, you know, show that I can play tackle at an elite level,” Campbell said. “You can go look at my tape, there’s not one play on there that when I get beat you say that’s because he has shorter arms…Obviously I don’t have stereotypical offensive tackle arms. I’m aware of that. People have to nitpick something. I’ve heard it all my career. When I was coming out of high school, the college coaches all said the same thing. I proved them wrong; it’s something I anticipate doing again.”
After the physical measurements were taken, Campbell excelled in the drills.
He finished in the top 7 among offensive linemen in every drill he participated in including the second longest broad jump (9’5”). ESPN’s Next Gen Stats ranked his combine performance third among tackles.
Fox Sports NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported Tuesday that Campbell has visits set up with three teams currently picking in the top five of the draft. Two of those are expected to include ownership.
Sources: LSU OT and Consensus All-American Will Campbell is taking 30-visits with three teams picking in the top five this week and is set to meet with ownership at two of those spots, I’m told.

In a draft not considered exceptionally strong at quarterback, Campbell and other elite prospects could rise up draft boards and be selected very early.
The NFL Draft will be held in Green Bay, Wisc., beginning Thursday April 24.
