Tigers atop D1Baseball and Baseball America polls

LSU is college baseball’s new No. 1.
Following a series win over Arkansas, the Tigers claimed the top spot in this week’s D1Baseball and Baseball America polls.
Georgia was the top ranked team in Baseball America’s poll a week ago, but the Bulldogs dropped a pair of game in Tuscaloosa over the weekend. Texas lost its second consecutive series and fell from D1Baseball’s top spot.
The Tigers are one of five power conference teams with 40 wins on the season and are in third position in the SEC standings with a week to go.
