Report: LSU-Clemson to kick off in prime time

LSU and Clemson will kick off the 2025 college football season under the lights at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, SC.
Brett McMurphy reported Tuesday the battle of the Tigers is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on ABC. The game with be part of a triple-header on ABC that also features Syracuse vs. Tennessee in Atlanta and Alabama at Florida State.

LSU has played its last three season openers on Sunday night. The last time the Tigers opened the season on a Saturday was the 2021 loss at UCLA in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. LSU has lost its last five season openers, including all three under Brian Kelly.
