Fland was a former five star recruit out of high school and averaged over 15 points per game in Fayetteville before a hand injury sidelined him for two months. Fland also averaged 5.1 assists to just 1.4 turnovers in his first year of college basketball.
Fland was a top 25 recruit out of high school from White Plains, New York. He is the No. 8 player in the transfer portal and ranked a five star in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
He’ll head to Gainesville and provide immediate help to the defending national champions. The Gators lost their entire backcourt to graduation following their title run in San Antonio. With Fland on the roster they are projected to once again be one of the best teams in the country in 2025-2026.
