Four members of the 2025 College World Series champions were named to the All-Tournament Team on Sunday evening.
Kade Anderson, the sensational sophomore left-hander, was named the Most Outstanding Player. Over two starts in Omaha, Anderson worked 16 innings and allowed just one run on six hits. He struck out 17 including 10 Coastal Carolina hitters in a complete game shutout win in game one of the championship series.
Jared Jones provided some huge moments over LSU week-long stay and was named the All-Tournament First Baseman. He walked Arkansas off with an RBI single to advance to the championship series. He also blasted LSU’s only two home runs of the week. The first was a three-run shot to give LSU the lead over UCLA. The second was a game-tying blast off Arkansas’s Gabe Gaeckle in Wednesday’s bracket final.
Steven Milam continued his torrid hitting pace from the regional rounds. He went 8-for-25 (.320) in Omaha with four runs and two RBI including Saturday’s lone run. He played tremendous defense, as he did all season, en route to being named the All-Tournament Shortstop.
Derek Curiel rounded out LSU’s honorees in the outfield. The precocious freshman collected seven hits in the series including one in every game.
