South Carolina kicked off fall camp on Friday, and did so with some long-awaited, much-needed good news.
The NCAA still hasn’t weighed in on making a decision for transfer RB Ruhsul Faison’s eligibility this year. They did, however, make one decision: Faison can begin practicing with the team for fall camp. In typical NCAA fashion, the announcement came after the first practice had already ended.
Regardless, the news is good, according to Faison’s lawyer, Darren Heitner.
Now, Faison will await the rest of his eligibility ruling and hopes to learn his fate before South Carolina opens its season Aug. 31 against Virginia Tech.
