College football’s biggest game is headed back to The Big Easy.
The College Football Playoff title game will be held in the Caesars Superdome January 24, 2028, according to Brett McMurphy. LSU’s 42-25 win over Clemson in January of 2020 was the last time the city helped crown the national champion.

LSU has appeared in four national title games in New Orleans since 2003.
Since the turn of the century, every 4th season where the national championship is played in New Orleans, #LSU has played in that game.

Miami will host this season’s finale, and Las Vegas will do the honors next year.
