The sophomore was listed as “Doubtful” on the first availability report of the week. His absence means LSU will turn to DJ Chester, Coen Echols and/or Carius Curne at left guard against the Gamecocks.
The news was better about sophomores Ahmad Breaux and Caden Durham. But are “Probable” for Saturday. Breaux adds depth at defensive tackle for the Tigers while Durham, who missed the Ole Miss game with a sprained ankle, is the team’s leading rusher.
Wide Receiver Aaron Anderson‘s status is “Questionable”. He missed the second half at Ole Miss will myriad injuries that have plagued him for weeks. Kelly said last week Anderson “would probably answer the bell”, but that will become clearer as the week progresses.
