Saturday marks the halfway point of the college football season, and with seven games on the SEC slate anything could happen. Every week we update the betting lines on Friday compared to where they opened. All seven games saw some line movement. The surprising part is how significant the line movement has been, and it’s more than we’ve seen in any weekend this season for SEC games.
Four of the seven games saw the line move at a minimum of four points. That includes Missouri-Alabama, Georgia-Auburn and Arkansas-Tennesee. The first two games feature home underdogs, but the puzzling one is Arkansas and Tennessee where the Vols are still favored but have dropped from -13.5 to -9.5. That’s especially peculiar considering this is the first game Arkansas will play with an interim coach, and it’s on the road against a top 15 team.

The headliner here is Oklahoma versus Texas in Dallas. The annual rivalry has seen one of the most dramatic shifts of any game this season. When the initial line was released this summer, the then preseason No. 1 team in America was Texas. After five games they are unranked while Oklahoma holds a spot in the top five. The line shifted 13 points all the way across to the Sooners being favored by 1.5 with less than 24 hours until kickoff.
Here’s a look at the lines for every game this weekend in the SEC.
