Whit Weeks will not play for LSU at Vanderbilt.
The All-SEC linebacker is dealing with a bone bruise on his ankle and cannot play versus the Commodores according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Weeks’s absence leaves a large hole in the middle of the Tiger defense that will have to be filled by sophomore Davhon Keys and redshirt freshman Tylen Singleton.
Vanderbilt’s rushing attack leads the country in yards per carry, so the middle of the Tiger defense will be active Saturday in Nashville.
Kickoff between the Tigers and Commodores is set for 11:05 on ABC.
