Saints, Cowboys Thursday Injury Report

Health and availability continue to be early concerns for the New Orleans Saints as they prepare for a big matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Among those not participating in practices for the Saints are starting cornerback Marshon Lattimore and starting left tackle Taliese Fuaga. They will be big names to watch going into Friday, when the teams will release their injury reports with game designations.

The big losses on Thursday of course are Lattimore and Fuaga, but the elevations of several others are notable positives. Getting Mathieu back is massive for a secondary that could be without its top corner against a talent pair of Cowboys receivers. 

The Saints tight end room may be at full strength for the first time this season with Holker up to full participation and the same goes for the wideouts with Perry back to fully being involved. 

The Cowboys saw a key pass rusher return but are still down their top tight end. Which could aid the Saints defense in focusing on limiting the team’s top wide receivers as much as possible in CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks.
