The NFL Trade Deadline has passed and unlike most deadlines, it came with much fanfare.
Sauce Gardner, Quinnen Williams, Jakobi Meyers, Jaelan Phillips, Rashid Shaheed, Jaire Alexander and other notable names were shipped in a frenetic deadline that actually impacted futures odds.
It’s unusual when odds move without a massive name being dealt, but we’re seeing that today. To be clear, oddsmakers likely are adjusting numbers based on these trades, but they’re moving numbers based on action coming in on the trade benefactors.
