Eleven days after his dismissal from LSU, Brian Kelly issued a statement on his X profile.
The coach mentioned accomplishments such as Jayden Daniels’s Heisman Trophy, “more than a dozen” Tigers playing in the NFL and 39 SEC Academic Honor Roll recipients in 2024. He also shared memories of his family’s and wished interim coach Frank Wilson well Saturday against Alabama.

Kelly finished his LSU career 34-14 overall, 19-10 in SEC play.
