Josh Williams has been suspended six games by the NFL.
Williams violated the league’s Performance-Enhancing Substances Policy and will serve his suspension without pay.
The former LSU running back made the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster as an undrafted free agent. He’s played in three games and carried the ball four times for 11 yards. He will be eligible for reinstatement December 22 with one game remaining on Tampa Bay’s schedule.
Williams made LSU’s roster as a walk on and went on to rush for over 1,400 yards and earn the No. 18 as a graduate student in his sixth season.
