BATON ROUGE, La. – The fifth-ranked LSU women’s basketball team defeated Marist College, 113-53, on Friday night inside the University of Virgin Islands Elridge Blake Sports and Fitness Center.
The Tigers are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 29 to face Washington State University. The game will tip off at 6:30 p.m. CT back inside the USVI Elridge Blake Sports and Fitness Center.
LSU improves its record to 7-0 overall on the season, while Marist drops to 2-5.
The Tigers shot 47-of-88 (53.4%) from the floor, while Marist went x-of-x (x%). LSU were 15-of-18 (83.3%) from the free throw line and 4-of-16 (25%) from the 3-point range. Additionally, they tallied 21 assists, 59 rebounds, 22 steals and 4 blocks.
