Alabama and Georgia will meet in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta on Saturday for the fourth time in eight years. Prior to Saturday, the initial availability report for each team was released.
For Alabama it was the most injury riddled list they have given this season. Eleven players were listed on the report, including seven players out. The biggest surprise was potential first round pick LT Overton being included as ‘Out’ after meeting with the media on Tuesday and no issues.
The speculation is that something happened in practice Wednesday. The Crimson Tide also had four players listed as ‘Questionable,’ including three starters: Kam Dewberry, Josh Cuevas, and Jam Miller.
Georgia has six players out for the game, but no surprises. The biggest concern is center Drew Bobo who was injured against Georgia Tech last week.
