Edna Karr head coach Brice Brown tells LouisianaSports.net that a clerical holdup caused Wednesday afternoon’s delay. Anderson had testing to complete on Thursday morning, and the revised documents were to LSU Thursday.
Anderson reaffirmed his commitment to LSU at Edna Karr’s ceremony on Wednesday but did not send LSU his paperwork. Discussions continued with the LSU staff, and any concerns Anderson may have had appear to have been alleviated.
Anderson was LSU’s first commitment to the 2026 class back in June of 2024. He’s ranked as the No. 12 prospect in America by 247sports and the No. 18 player by Rivals. Both outlets label him a five-star prospect at 6-foot-4 and 350 lbs.
Players have until Friday to sign in the early signing period.
