Kelvin Bolden leaves LSU for Ole Miss

It was a quick stay at LSU for Kelvin Bolden.

In July, Bolden was hired by LSU from Ole Miss as the Associate Athletic Director/Assistant General Manager. On Tuesday morning, Bolden posted a video of himself at Ole Miss practice with the caption “WE’RE BACK!!!” indicating he’s taken a role back at Ole Miss.

Ole Miss confirmed Bolden’s return a short time later.

The Ocean Springs, Miss., native worked for the Rebels from 2022 through 2024 and is a respected recruiter who former LSU General Manager Austin Thomas targeted for his staff after the two worked together for two seasons at Ole Miss.

Thomas was not retained by new LSU head coach Lane Kiffin. Former Ole Miss General Manager Billy Glasscock made the move over to LSU with Kiffin.
