Lane Kiffin brought GM Billy Glasscock with him from Ole Miss, replacing Thomas in the spot he had held for the past two years. Before returning to LSU for his third stint, Thomas worked under Kiffin at Ole Miss from 2022-2023.
Ole Miss promoted defensive coordinator Pete Golding to head coach when Kiffin left for LSU. Golding was on Kiffin’s staff during Thomas’s time with the Rebels.
Last week, Golding hired Kelvin Bolden away from LSU as his Coordinator of Recruiting Strategy. Bolden spent just five months in Baton Rouge when he left Ole Miss to join Thomas’s front office staff.
Kiffin has brought a handful of his Ole Miss staff members to join him at LSU with more possibly to follow.
