The 6-foot-4, 315 pounder out of Katy, Texas, played in five games in 2024 before appearing in all 12 games this season with seven starts. The majority of his snaps came at left guard, but Echols did play both guard spots against Southeastern Louisiana.
Echols was a consensus four-star recruit and was ranked the 14th best interior offensive lineman in the country.
He joins Carius Curne as the two LSU offensive lineman to test the portal waters.
