The staff swamp between LSU and Ole Miss continues. Jai Choudhary is rejoining the Rebels staff after joining LSU less than a year ago, LouisianaSports.net has learned.
Choudhary will serve under Ole Miss General Manager Austin Thomas as Director of Player Personnel. On3 was first to report the news. Thomas hired Choudhary in April to join LSU’s staff as Associate Director of Player Personnel.
A Chicago native, Choudhary attended Southern Cal and received his master’s from Ole Miss. His role included scouting and serving as an NFL liaison.
In addition to Thomas and Choudhary, Kelvin Bolden has also left Baton Rouge for Oxford after less than a year with LSU. Interim head coach Frank Wilson will reportedly join Pete Golding’s staff after LSU finishes the season Saturday in the Texas Bowl.
LSU hired Lane Kiffin away from Ole Miss earlier this month. This week, Kiffin announced 11 staff hires, with eight of them joining him from his Ole Miss staff.
