The New Orleans Saints pulled off a thrilling comeback victory against the Tennessee Titans in Week 17, improving to 6-10 and outpacing last year’s win count.
Though they started down 13-0, the team rallied back behind its rookie sensation at quarterback and a strong rebound from a defensive unit that’s been on fire since Week 10.
It wasn’t perfect, but that’s what made it an impressive victory for the Saints. Here are some of the numbers that’ll help tell the story.
1 – Wide receiver Chris Olave needs one receiving touchdown in Week 17 to become the first ever Saints player with 100 receptions, 1,000 receiving yards and 10 touchdown catches in a single season.
5 – Rookie Tyler Shough’s five wins as a starting quarterback matched the Saints’ win total from the entire 2024 season.
10 – The Titans held their first 10-point lead at halftime against the Saints since Week 1 of 2024.
29 – Defensive end Cameron Jordan became just the 29th player in NFL history with seven seasons of at least nine sacks.
57 – Kicker Charlie Smyth set a new career-long with his 57-yard field goal.
88 – Running back Audric Estime set a new career-high in rushing yards with 94. He gained 88 of them in the second half.
134 – Olave has been on a tear since becoming the team’s lone option at wideout, averaging 134 receiving yards over the last two games.
137 – Linebacker Demario Davis has set his career-high in single-season tackles in his 14th year with 137.
142.7 – Shough’s 142.7 passer rating is the best of all rookies to start a game this year.
333 – Shough set a new career high in passing yards on Sunday with 333. He became only the third rookie in the Super Bowl era to throw for more than 300 yards with no interceptions in back-to-back games.
